St Andrew’s as we see it today was officially opened on St Andrew’s Day 1975. The school has stood on its present site for nearly 50 years. In 2016 St Andrew’s converted to become an academy. St Andrew’s Church of England Primary Academy was one of the founder members of the Mid-Trent Multi Academy Trust along with St Peter’s and Colwich Church of England Primary Academies.
